In North XL RC versions, the interior has been reconfigured to accommodate ATX motherboards with rear-facing connectors. This includes motherboard series such as GIGABYTE Stealth, ASUS Back to the Future, and MSI Project Zero. By reducing cables and clutter from the main chamber, with compatible components connecting through the reverse side, users can effortlessly achieve a clean-looking finish to their system. 

As with other North XL cases, the RC version fuses design materials with airflow engineering, to make performance gaming a stylish addition to the living space. All versions support 420 mm front-mounted radiators, 360 mm top-mounted radiators, and graphics cards up to 413 mm in length.

Era 2 refines the distinctive architectural design of the series and improves on its cooling capability for a smoother gaming experience. It features a tactile top panel made with solid, FSC-certified walnut and an outer body crafted from anodized aluminum. Both panels are ventilated for better performance and are easy to remove. The top panel is magnetically fastened and the outer body simply slides off.  

On the inside, a tool-less sliding latch mechanism allows swift removal and reseating of the top bracket. This gives smart access to an open interior with space for a powerful three-slot GPU on one side and CPU cooling on the other. It also features a slidable central wall that adds 15 mm of internal flexibility, allowing builders to find the optimal ratio between each side of their system.

To boost thermal performance, Era 2 is engineered to direct airflow through the case. It comes with two pre-installed Aspect 12 PWM fans, features ample ventilation throughout the case and is ideal for water cooling using a top radiator, to help enable a premium gaming experience in a streamlined format.

For access to the interior, users can pop out the back panel and simply slide off the fabric-covered enclosure for full access to their build. Inside, Mood can house a graphics card up to 325 mm in length and is compatible with SFF-Ready Enthusiast GeForce Cards. Connecting the graphics card is also made easier thanks to the included PCIe 4.0 riser cable. 

For effective cooling, Mood features a 180 mm Dynamic fan at the top which moves air up through the case. For more ambitious cooling builds, there is compatibility for radiators up to 280 mm or CPU air coolers up to 114 mm in height.

From building through to daily use, Terra was designed with user interaction in mind. Whether someone rotates open the aluminum side panels, slides open the top with the integrated tab or presses the laser-engraved aluminum power button — every interaction with Terra is designed to feel smooth and enjoyable.
